I'm quite surprised how many people here are from America...
I'm from Germany, too. Living in the upper North in Braunschweig.

Well, maybe I'm the only one from Asia here. I'm from Medan, Indonesia. In Indonesia (especially Medan), most people don't know classical music. Once you ask them to talk about it, they only get Mozart and Beethoven in their head. That's why I join this forum. But, my English is very terrible, so please forgive me if I make mistakes.

Hi ! I'm french ! I live in marseille (in the south of france), i'm 19 years old, and i discovered bach for the first time when i played one of his inventions. Since this time, i am a fan of all his works, especially cantatas (which includes passions and oratorios), organ works and chorale.

I find it really amazing that so much people all around the world have interest for the great Johann Sebastian Bach !

See you !

My favorite cantata ? There are so much cantatas, and i just know a few ! But i vote for the 6 cantatas of the christmas oratorio. "Wachet auf ruft uns die Stimme" is also a very beautyful and interesting cantata. And you, what is (are) your favorite cantata(s) ?
