Hello everyone,
On Friday, March 14th the first live online broadcast of world famous St. Matthew Passion by the Dutch Bach Association conducted by Jos van Veldhoven will occur at the new ‘digital concert hall’ MonteVerdi. This event promises to be a landmark in the online classical movie community. More information on this special broadcast can be found on the MonteVerdi website (Monteverdi dot tv)
An interview with Jos van Veldhoven about the upcoming performance can be viewed on YouTube by searching the conductors name.
MonteVerdi has decided to release a limited amount of free tickets for this event for individuals willing to review or share their opinions on the concert! If you would like to obtain one of these free tickets, please write me a short email at bpaylor at webrepassociates dot com explaining your motivation and interest!
MonteVerdi aims to bring together professionals and devotees of classical music and opera from around the world. By offering high-quality video on demand, live streaming (1.5Mps) and audio downloads (320 kbps) it will allow wide audience access to performances and recitals that were previously only available to a limited group of concertgoers.
If you have any questions about this new website, please don’t hesitate to ask! We look forward to welcoming you to the MonteVerdi community.

Hello everyone,
We are wondering if anyone was able to enjoy the live performance of St. Matthew Passion by the Netherlands Bach Association on MonteVerdi on March 14th? Or perhaps one of the re-broadcasts that have been available since then? For those who missed it, there is a portion of the concert available on YouTube
If were able to view it, we are curious to know, what did you think? MonteVerdi is very interested in what could be done to improve the site.
Perhaps you were not able to experience the performance, but have been on the website. How did you like it?
We would love to hear your opinions. And Happy Easter!
Cheers,
Ben
